Privacy Policy

Little Noël is developed by Scevlo Games LLC. We built this game because we love games — not to collect your data. This policy explains what we do (and don't do) with information in connection with Little Noël and littlenoelgame.com.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information about who you are. Little Noël does not require an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, or advertising identifier.

There are three situations where some information leaves your device:

Crash reports — if the game crashes or hits an error, a technical report is sent so we can fix it (see Section 2).
Sharing a village — if you choose to share a village, its contents are uploaded so others can download it (see Section 3).
Contacting us — if you email us, we receive your email address and message. We use them only to reply and never add you to a mailing list or marketing system.

2. Crash Reporting

To find and fix bugs, Little Noël uses Sentry, a crash and error reporting service operated by Functional Software, Inc. When the game crashes or encounters an error, it sends a report that may include:

the error message and technical details of where in the game's code it happened
the game version and platform (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, or Linux)
device information such as model, operating system version, memory, and graphics hardware
recent in-game activity leading up to the error, such as which screen was open

Crash reports do not include your name, email address, account details, or precise location. Your IP address is necessarily seen when the report is transmitted, but we have configured Sentry not to store it. Sentry processes this data on our behalf as a service provider and may not use it for its own purposes. Crash reports are automatically deleted within 90 days.

You can turn off crash reporting at any time under Settings → Send Crash Reports.

3. Sharing Villages

Sharing is optional and only happens when you tap Share. When you share a village, we upload its name, its layout (terrain, buildings, paths, decorations, and camera position), and the game version to our server, which is hosted on Cloudflare. You receive a share code, and anyone with that code can download and view the village. Please don't include personal information in village names.

Shared villages are kept until you ask us to remove them. To delete a shared village, email us its share code at [email protected].

To prevent abuse, our server uses your IP address to limit how often villages can be uploaded and downloaded. These counters are temporary and expire automatically within an hour; we do not store your IP address with your village.

4. Third-Party Platforms

Little Noël is distributed through third-party platforms including the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Steam. When you download or purchase the game, or make an in-app purchase, those transactions are processed entirely by those platforms under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment information.

These platforms may collect data about your device and usage as described in their own policies. Where a platform provides aggregated crash or performance data through its developer tools, we may review it to fix bugs.

5. No Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking

Little Noël contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across other apps or websites. We do not sell, rent, or share data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Children's Privacy

Little Noël is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Crash reports contain technical information only and do not identify the player. If you believe a child has emailed us or included personal information in a shared village, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. In-App Purchases

Little Noël offers optional in-app purchases on mobile platforms and is available as a paid title on Steam with future paid content planned. All purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or Valve (Steam). Scevlo Games LLC does not collect or store your payment details.

8. Website

Littlenoelgame.com is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may collect standard server log data (such as IP addresses and browser types) as part of providing hosting and security services. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics tools on this website.

9. Data Retention

Crash reports: deleted automatically within 90 days.
Shared villages: kept until you ask us to delete them.
Rate-limit counters: expire automatically within an hour.
Email: kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry or as required by law.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you, or to object to its processing. Because crash reports aren't linked to your identity, we usually can't find a specific person's reports — but you can stop sending them at any time in Settings. To delete a shared village or any correspondence with us, email [email protected].

11. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this privacy policy — for example, if a future version of the game introduces features that collect data — we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users through the applicable platform.
